TMap based solution testing
TMap Next has a foundation of 4 pillars:
- Adaptation: TMap is a method which allows for adaptation to the environment the method is used in;
- Toolcase: TMap has a toolbox which provide the techniques to perform the method;
- Business Driven Test Management (BDTM). The Test Manager can manage the process on 4 aspects (Time, Costs, Risks, and Results);
- Structure: TMap Next is a method for structured testing.
Regression testing
Everytime you change, add or delete something in your solution it could effect other existing parts of the solution. The intent of regression testing is to assure that changes (additions, process changes, bugs) made to the solution will not introduce other errors in the process of fixing the original problem.
User acceptance testing
The User Acceptance Test (UAT) is the final phase in a software development process in which the software is given to the intended audience to be tested for functionality listed in the requirements and processes (see Consultancy).
